With much of the state resuming business as usual we wanted to remind the awesome customers of G&C that we are open, but we are not yet business as usual. Our lobby has been closed during the pandemic, but we have a surprise in store for our customers. We have done an entire makeover of our front lobby and it is officially open to the public starting Monday, October 19th. We have our giant pumpkin sitting front and center for our customers and any visitors to take a guess for a chance to win an Amazon gift card. We are trying to get as close to normal as possible. While we have changed the way we do things at G&C during this pandemic, we want to reassure our customers that we are doing everything we can to protect our customers during this time period as well as our G&C family. We ask that all customers practice social distancing while inside the lobby as well as wearing a facemask to protect others around you. We have hand sanitizer stations throughout th ... read more
If you have been to G&C over the past few weeks during the COVID19 pandemic you may have noticed that we have some new furniture out front. The new furniture was donated by Barewoods Furniture located just down the street from us on Willard Rd. They donated us the furniture for additional seating for our outdoor waiting area. We do not know how long this crisis will last, but if you need to wait on your vehicle we have the appropriate 6 feet distance in our outside waiting area. Barewoods furniture is a small family owned business much like G&C. Local businesses like Barewoods and G&C are important to the local community and during hard times like these we will try and support all local businesses. If you like the furniture that Barewoods Furniture has donated to us here is a link to their website to find something for your home! https://www.barewoodsfurniture.com/

With more time at home we can finally catch up on some yard work just in time for summer. Now more than ever it's important to retreat from our previous throwaway culture. If you have a small engine acting up, such a lawn mower or weed wacker, bring it G&C Tire and Auto and our expert small engine technicians will make it run like new. Avoid an expensive trip to the hardware store, and instead bring it to G&C for a simple and easy repair
During this time we are unaware of what the future might hold for us small, but essential businesses. We at G&C are supporting our local small businesses and we hope that you will too. Ciao has started a GoFundMe in order to provide meals for our first responders. Please consider donating to this worthy cause during these stressful and demanding times. These are the people keeping us safe and secure. From one essential service to another, keep up the good work!
What is an essential business? This term has been used over the past few weeks as we receive COVID-19 updates from our state and federal governments. Essential businesses are businesses that our society needs in order to continue on with our lives in critical areas. Some examples include grocery stores, healthcare facilities, banks, gas stations, and automotive repair facilities. G&C falls into the essential business category as we are an automotive repair facility. We are needed by the community to make sure that everyone working in other essential businesses has a safe vehicle in which to get to work. At G&C we are sanitizing everything that is considered a high traffic area, every hour. We are using plastic gloves, steering wheel covers, and Lysol wipes for anything touched in your vehicle. Running ozone machines at night is something else we are doing to disinfect the air in our facilities. These are just a few of the precautions that G&C is taking in order to kee ... read more
